Billy Harris Patrick Brady Johannus Monday + 1 alternate
Alice Gillan Isabelle Lacy Candy Wai Jaquelyn Ogunwale
I thought this would be stronger with it being a rare opportunity to play on grass and a Wimbly play off WC on offer
do you think it is stronger ? Billy makes it stronger , granted, but overall it feels a little bit the same as if not weaker . But Ive not tried to analyse rankings to be honest so just gut feel
I think Lambda is saying he though it WOULD BE stronger than it is. But it's not
I'm interested to see JoMo here (and I expect Bob might have a little reccy here too.....)
Very sensible of Isabelle Lacy to play here, get the grass practice, what with her definite Wimbly quali wildcard coming up.
As said before, I'm looking forward to seeing JoMo play too - there's good potential for him to be very interesting this summer
Patrick Brady must obviously be wanting to really push on too.
I don't know if he's been injured. I'd assumed he was at college/uni and someone posted to say no, he's not. So it's a big strange he hasn't been more on the circuit. Hope he's OK.
But he's playing one of the players I have a soft spot for so, sorry, Patrick - go Brandon
Might dip into Marcus v Billy too - I liked Marcus as a junior, although he was very slight
Brandon indeed beat Patrick Brady, and without too much trouble.
And Marcus Walters pulled off a super upset, over Billy
I'm sorry for Billy but, as said, I like Marcus and it would be great if he were now on form and back on the circuit.
JoMo looks to be going well too
one or two of these mentioned might be interesting picks in the most grass court wins prediction poll over on the predictions thread?! Jo Monday in partic.
Hi TA - did you decide if you are going along this week yet?
If I do go it will be towards the end of the week. I'm a little disappointed that some of the leading players in the league aren't playing and that others are choosing to play abroad rather than getting the practice on grass. Anyway, I'm going to Surbiton qualifying so it doesn't matter so much.

Surbiton should be good, love it as an event. It feels like a new beginning to me, after the drudge, dust and dirt of the clay, the sweet smell of freshly mown grass is perfect!
The website is still in need of someone who knows what they are doing. Apparently Billy Harris beat Candy Wai 6-4 0-1 (retired). Having already lost to Summer Yardley today, I'm not surprised she retired.
(Should have read Roy Keegan beat Billy Harris)
