Nice win for George Loffhagen, over Toby Samuel, 6-4 6-2

Like Katy Dunne, Fran, Ryan Storrie and others - wouldn't it be wonderful to see what George could do if managed a full year of tennis.....

She was 40-30* in the next game too and looking good. She moved to her right to return a serve and it looks like something went in her legs as she hobbled for a step and then immediately went to the floor.

It's a joy to see Fran back playing again and coming through for the win against Talia in the match tie break. If she gets through the week without injury I wonder if she might consider taking a wild card for Loughborough?

Beth Grey a withdrawal today. Along with Katy Dunne's retirement yesterday suggests that neither is back to full fitness.

 Fran withdraws from her quarter against Elena. Replaced by Jess Matthews.
