Will be interesting to see who plays next week on the grass at Felixstowe. Reckon it could be one of the stronger fields this season. A few players probably looking to show their grass credentials to the distributor of WCs for upcoming tournaments.

that is true and the week before all the main grass court events start of course - I forgot it was next week. Grass in Felixstowe versus clay in Paris?!

Hope you are right. I'm planning on going one day if the fields are interesting enough.

The Felixstowe LTC website has it down as a Monday till Saturday tournament. So might not start till Monday this week.

No names jumping out in what seems a weaker than normal field on both mens and womens, to me at least. Using 3 courts today.

Alex Canter and Danielle Daley probably the main players - Dani leads the womens league rankings. Alex is top man in the league playing today. The non playing players in each group arent shown yet.

A lot of players that I follow in that line-up - thanks for putting it up, Jon

Not many from the league leaders playing today - it will be interesting to see who the other 8 players are when they publish the groups.

The remaining players are

Billy Harris
Patrick Brady
Johannus Monday
+ 1 alternate

Alice Gillan
Isabelle Lacy
Candy Wai
Jaquelyn Ogunwale

I thought this would be stronger with it being a rare opportunity to play on grass and a Wimbly play off WC on offer

do you think it is stronger ? Billy makes it stronger , granted, but overall it feels a little bit the same as if not weaker . But Ive not tried to analyse rankings to be honest so just gut feel
