Thanks those who have posted.
For the rest, if you want to make a substitution today is the last day and I will be updating my spreadsheet tomorrow ready for the new rankings on Monday.

Nah, if it ain't broke, don't fix it, that's what I say.......

PS If you're reading this, Jo G, you really should switch, just saying.....but hey......

I'm going to swap Katy Dunne for Eliz Maloney. It costs me two points for now, but I can't see Eliz climbing much higher and Katy seems to be on the up for now.

Duh, I was trying to work out who in the competition was Jo G and why CD was advising them to use their sub  no

Yes,it is good, worth far more than 10p. She would be worth up to 9 points on current rankings, depending who you subbed out.

I know - and if she switches nationality in the next six months I'll be kicking myself all the way to Timbuktoo - I'm conscious too that it was only my Beth switch last year that, out of the blue, turned out A1 perfectly and brought home the championship bacon.....

I honestly still wouldn't mind the punt, even now, but having looked at the others, it's not pretty but none of them are non-hopers and so I'd also kick myself if Marni suddenly moved up to 270, say. In fact, the only one that is clearly A1 wrong is Emma - and putting Jo in at British number one, at WTA 35, seems a little optimistic ! biggrin

Actually, I'd have subbed her in for Freya. Freya isn't playing a lot of singles right now and is a nil-pointer for you whilst Jo would be 7 points at the moment (5 for GB and 2 for WR with room for improvement)

Yes, but I thought Jo would only switch before Wimbledon so, I'd got it in my mind that it wouldn't be in the second half of the year.

Although now I stop to think about it, I guess she might do so in Nov, say, ready for next year.....

But I don't have Freya in my list, this year - or do I? According to my list it's:

Emma - 35

Katie Swan - 80

Harriet - 90

Jodie - 105

Katie B - 120

Sonay - 140

Hev - 160

Lily - 170

Marni - 270

Sub: Jo Garland - 200

Oops - just seen one (of my many) problems - my copied list from Dec 31st only has nine players - never noticed - for pity's sake, CD.......

And I'd missed Freya off the bottom when I copied it (and, you're quite right, it's Freya at 300)

Truly useless.....

But too late now - I made my bed and will lie in it, and all that

So, c'mon Freya !!!!!

And if Jo changes in Nov, I'll just cry into my soup.....
