Toby yes has won this week's USA M15 doubles title but he is also in the singles final. So I'll wait to see how that pans out before updating.

 Makes sense

Err OK, you do it then

Ha, actually I've noticed that it needs further revision.

My thoughts are that both Alicia/Olivia and Harriet have qualified for POM anyway so won't miss out on the season highlight plus how do you distinguish who contributed the most in a team expected to pretty much lose both ties 3-0. I personally think that it should just be the team that gets the nom but it's not my baby

thanks Emmsie - It is my baby, but I want to also let my kids have free-will and not impose, just to suggest ideas. Indy and TA have both said they wish to nominate the players mentioned, Rich has nominated the team as a whole, and it doesnt look like anyone is keen to demure on any of those 3. And that is fine.

As always - let's see where the voting takes us. However many nominations we get, I am splitting the field into 3 initial groups, so that the BJK Cup players dont compete with each other - if they all have support, they will get to the final, but we will see where the vote takes us. I will take the top 2 in each group through, assuming the field grows a bit over the next two weeks. There are a decent number of players like Toby, Lloyd, Neal, maybe Joe this week , who can do big enough things to make sure it isnt just a BJK Cup team shoo in!! And if they knock spots off each other, so be it, I think it is down to voters to then make a case for their choice and try and get support garnered into that direction!

I'm happy to withdraw my Livvy & Liz nomination and give time for someone else to put them back in

As earlier I had considered nominating the team myself before it was nominated. And emmsie makes some good ponts including that Lissey & Liv are already into PoS.

ok, thanks - I think you are saying, withdraw them in relation to the BJK Cup effort, but if over the next two weeks they do something nomination worthy in their own tournament play (are they due to play?) they could get renominated? Which is fine and makes sense.

If that is right, I think TA has also suggested he would be willing to drop Harriets solo nomination, probably on the same basis? But I will let you both confirm. (Are either Harriet or Liv/Lissey due to play again - so is it slightly a mute point?!)

if this is correct, and both Indi and TA agree, it will take us down to 9 nominations and take away the need to have a two rounds of votes approach ie we can use our normal one single vote approach, which is better, for sure

Of course anyone could put Lissey & Liv back in, play again or not, but I confirm that I am happy to take them out so ...

2. Jamie Murray - for reaching the milestone of 500 wins on the ATP Tour with his victory today in Paris.
3. Will Jansen - reversing the result last week and taking out the No.2 seed, then consolidating with another straight sets win to make the SF, done whilst still a junior (GB's top ranked junior currently); won the M15 Kuwait doubles title

10. Harriet Dart - for two outstanding wins playing at no 1 for GB in the BJK cup, beating Badosa and Tomljanovic.

Cool, let TA decide if he is happy to follow suit. I think he is. If he is - then I also suggest we can say a lot more in the Team write up that might cover things like Harriet beating Badosa, Liv and Lissey winning 2 of 3 against higher rated opponents and Heather winning over her Spanish opponent in breakneck speed!

9. BJK GB Team - Outstanding 3-0 victory over Spain being under dogs and first time since 1981 in the semi finals; within the team, Dart had two outstanding wins playing at no 1 for GB in the BJK cup, beating Badosa and Tomljanovic, Nicholls/Barnett had two strong doubles wins over higher rated opponents; and Watson had a strong singles win over her Spanish higher ranked opponent, as the team won 5 out of 9 rubbers

To clarify/confirm - vote will be one single vote now we have resolved the BJK Cup debate. If one of the players comes back in for other reasons (ie subsequent form) we will still keep it as one vote now.

I think Lloyds reaching the semis this week in Turin will be worthy of being added to his narrative when the weak is over. Neal , possibly, as well depending on how things proceed. We will have to see if Joe forces his way into the reckoning - suspect Joe needs the title this week to do that?

It would be great for Lloyd if he could get into PoS without the need of a WC. Goodness knows what WC negotiations the LTA would want us to get involved in before he'd be seen as worthy.
