Poor start from Katie. Missed break points and broken herself for 1-3*. Only the second time Burel has played on grass (Wimbledon qualifying last year was the first).

It's like Eastbourne all over again as  Katie's  second round opponent is either Martincova or Pliskova both of whom she beat there.  

Katie is doing really really well at the moment. Just great to see,

Congrats to Harmony Tan, have to say Im a little bit miew about Serena in general and Im not entirely sure why she came back. But it took guts for Tan to win and she will remember it for the rest of her life, Im sure.
