In an interview with Clay magazine (sorry cant get link) Rublev is saying British Government plans to keep the ban on Russian players from Wimbledon et Al in place for 2023. Rublev has often spoken out against the war. Ben Rothenberg links the article on his Twitter account

Several Russian players have been reported as planning to switch nationalities.

One who is now, supposedly, close to doing it is Vavara Gracheva. She's switching to French, apparently. She's been based in France for the last 6 years (which is sufficient - you need 5 years of legal residence to be eligible)

Russell Fuller @russellcfuller
The fine the ATP imposed on the LTA for banning Russians and Belarusians last year has been halved on appeal - and so with the WTA fine also cut in half, nearly £700,000 will be returned to the LTA accounts once the summer season ends

Bautista Agut, Mannarino, Djere, Lajovic, Bublik , Putintseva, Tomova, Paolini. Plus a host of Russians.

Shame on these players
