In the Bolton ITF Series 3 event (equivalent to a top Challenger event or maybe more like a WTA 125 level), Lucy Shuker is in womens semis, she and Cornelia Oosthuizen are both into the womens doubles final, but best of all Dermot Bailey, unseeded, as come through and is into the final.
That is quite possibly Dermot's career best performance and final still to come tomorrow.
The same venue has a Series 2 event (like an ATP/WTA 250) next week, so the same players plus a few stronger ones joining them.
Good luck to Dermot and also Lucy and Cornelia in their respective finals
Alfie stays at number two- the Rotterdam points at 305 werent enough to increase his score as his lowest counter is 325 already and so he is still just behind Kunieda.
In doubles, Gordon Reid actually moves equal top with Alfie as opposed to second on count back, as Alfie playing and losing early last week in doubles increased his number of events played without improving his total.
In the Bolton ITF Series 2 event this week, like an ATP 250 level, key Brits are:
Quads Andy Lapthorne is top seed in an 18 player field
Womens - Lucy Shuker, who won the level 3 event last week, is seeded second behind world number 3 Van Koot in a 23 player field
Mens - 24 player field , just 3 Brits go in this
Andy L is our biggest hope this week in the quads.
Andy Lapthorne and Lucy Shuker have made the quads and womens singles finals respectively in the ITF2 event in Bolton, well done to both and good luck in third finals.
Gordon Reid is now officially the WR 1 doubles player, leapfrogging over Alfie Hewett. They have the same points so must be some countback rule in place
Lucy Shuker rises to #5 after her week in Bolton last week, good for her
This week is the Georgia Open in the States- Lucy Shuker is here, second seed in singles and doubles. Fingers crossed she continues her good form. This is an ITF Series 1 event, like a 500 level for able bodied. Next week, The Cajun Classic Super Series event is taking place and the other top Brits should be playing , I hope.

Lucy was upset in the last 8 by a Colombian Ive not heard of before.
