Currently 8th Alt according to Darts rankings site. I guess if Novak withdraws then he is 7th however with his appeal not till Monday when the draw starts I assume that his withdrawal will end up being a LL place.
Looking at this again. There are 5 Aussies in the qualifying list and another one ahead of Ryan on the Alt list with 5 MD WC places not accounted for. So assuming these are taken by these players Ryan might be a more realistic 3rd Alt currently.
Looks like some WCs have been given out and Ryan is up to 2nd Alt.
I see Jonny O'Mara and Marach are out of this as well as AO - does anyone know if it is Jonny or Marach that has the issue? I see the draw says repairing so hope Jonny is not the issue and can find another partner for Sydney and AO?

I notice Jan Choinski is now 8th alt, although I've no idea if he's there.

Looks like you can turn up and get a match - there are only four on the alternates list now - and tha's before the WC's !
In the Mens looks like currently 11 Brits in. The next few are Brits so assuming the SEs clear that is 13 before WCs and Qualifiers. I reckon at least 22 of the main field will be Brits if not more.

I'm hoping Mimi just does that. Bath isn't that far from Wales.
Absolutely - although I'm a little surprised she wasn't on the list somewhere in the first place - there are so many young juniors on that list.
But, yes, I'd have thought she was always a contender for a QWC, without question (before the lists became obviously so weak) and, just possible, one MD WC, depending on other possibles.(And she hasn;t gone to Australia)

Second on the alternates list is now 'Destinee Hemphill Destinee Hemphill'. Will she really be so good they named her twice?

The Belgian, Heyman, has withdrawn from the men's main draw, pushing Mark Whitehouse into the top 18 automatic places, and Ryan Storrie and CHarlie Broom into the next two slots that'll get a place if there's no SEs.
Ryan and Charlie are in the MD as of right.
Dan Cox and Dan Little in the practically assure MD slots.
The two Southcombe brothers in the Q draw, along with Roan Jones, Harry Thursdfield, Sahej Maker and Mike Shaw.
In short, only three peskies in the whole 25k quali draw.
