I see that my "optimism" score is exactly the same in both the Mens and Women's predictions (only 35 so not very optimistic at all). I find this really weird given that both were undertaken in a completely random and unrelated manner. Does this maybe just reflect the fact that I'm not very optimistic?

I think Kyle's injury situation has clouded the situation since you have him as a sub, while some have included him in their top 10 but with a lower ranking than your prediction.
The optimism/pessimism score has largely been determined by whether the chosen sub is Kyle/Andy or say Anton/ another young player predicted to be 340 etc.
Today is the best time to be bottom CD. From there the only way is up.
Thanks, SuperT - I like your style
Yes, there is very likely going to be much more change than usual over the year as players' remaining 2019 and 2020 points should drop as well as 2021 points. I reckon As You Were is going to be in big trouble
Quite a few changes already, as the post AO rankings come out. With the ATP making a real mess of the calculations by not dropping points and counting some tournaments twice. Here is the men's rankings table as at 31/01/2022
