Apparently, her win was thanks to "some big serving on critical points" (Colette Lewis is the font of all knowledge here)
Good point about our A team, Jon - I should have mentioned Arthur too (have sat next to his parents at the Bank of England club too )
So the singles looks like this:
Women's D-I quarterfinals will feature 4 unseeded players and 4 No. 9 seeds: Rajecki(NCST) v Lee[9](GATECH) Blake(STAN) v Sleeth(OKLA) Akli[9](SCAR) v Sieg[9](USC) Tian[9](UCLA) v Miller(MICH)
Men's
Spizzirri[1](TEX) v Styler[8](MICH) Fery[3](STAN) v Cassone(AZST) Rodesch[9](UVA) v Bernard(OHST) Fenty(MICH) v Quinn[2](UGA)
PS the only thing I can see re doubles is that second seeds, our Jake Fearnley+, withdrew - probably just to be nice to Jon and because his name didn't begin with A
I should have made a point c) to get anywhere in this event, CD needs to have had some interaction with your parents

As CD pointed out, dubs info is hard to find The NCAA needs to think more creatively, sure there would be plenty of students whod cover this as a short internship - maybe theyre just relying on Cracked Rackets coverage? Even some of the colleges are slow to update their news page and have had to look at Twitter
So on the mens side thats Arthur in the singles ( May find Cassone harder than an allegedly injured Draxl) and Arthur +1 (Stanford) and Finn +1 (Auburn) through in the doubles. Good luck guys!!
Hi - I am Amelias (Millies) Mum - thank you for posting comments ref her - below is link to final point in match (hope it works) - difficult conditions in Florida - either rain/thunder/lightning or heat - it was 38 degrees on Tuesday - she was playing a doubles match at 9pm indoors after having a singles match earlier outdoors - recovery is very good though - ice baths - massage etc - She is now an All American in singles and doubles - very tired though as went to Florida a week last Sunday and has played in Team event and singles and doubles events
If any-one is interested matches for the NCAA tournament are streamed on Play Sight - apart from semi-final singles and finals when they are streamed on Tennis Channel which is unavailable in this country (unless you are very technical and get round it) - also - if any-one is interested in watching college matches during the season most universities stream them on match day with live scores as well - just look on the tennis Twitter page for the University you want to watch (e.g Millies is NC State Women's tennis) - its free - there is also a channel called Cracked Rackets which covers College tennis and also does podcasts and also a Twitter account called JTweetsTennis (he is linked to Cracked Rackets) - hope this is of interest (apologies for long post)

Welcome and good luck to you all in this event and maybe also on grass over the summer!
According to the draw sheets, the singles for AMelia, Angelica and Arthur were all scheduled for 10 am, so 3 pm BST - any insights on how they got on as they could be over or close to being over!!
So Amelia Rajecki is our sole survivor in the singles, into the last 4 and I bet she would have taken that at the start. Marvellous for her and also for Mum as well, I would reckon!
Thought this would be a tough match for Fery but still has the doubles
It was an all gas, no breaks match from Murphy as he grabbed the first point against Fery. In a back and forth battle, the pair kept each other within arms distance up until the end of the first set when Murphy ultimately won in the tiebreaker. The second set looked a bit different as Fery went up 3-0 before Murphy could find a point. A double fault by Fery while up 4-1 changed the trajectory of the match as Murphy scored three points in a row. Murphy's momentum persisted, tying up the match 5-5 before shutting Fery down to claim the sixth point. The final point had eight serves, ending in Murphy's favor for the 7-5.
This season Cassone was named to the Pac-12 All-Conference First Team as he was absolutely dominant in the final weeks of the regular season. Cassone was a perfect 6-0 in April and never lost more than two matches back-to-back during the year. Of his 17 wins in the regular season, just five went to a third set. He finished the regular season 17-6 (8-2 Pac-12) in singles play, and has a 3.1 ITF World Tennis Number.
