There were earlier questions about why the college accelerator programme was only for the men. The ITF and ITA have announced a programme for the women. Unfortunately it is nowhere near as good as the men's version and no British women qualify for it. Only the Top 5 in the end-of-year NCAA Division I rankings and the 2 finalists in the NCAA Division I Singles Championships qualify. Those returning to college in the fall have 3 main draw places to use between September and the end of 2023 and those who have left college have 5 main draw places to use by June 2024. They can be used in 1 W60, 2 W40s and 2 W25s.
