Great straight set wins for both Amelia and Angelica today over #10 ranked Daria Frayman of Princeton and previously unbeaten Savannah Broadus of Pepperdine respectively. Both girls , as unseeded players in the round of 16 earn the accolade of All American Even tougher opponents for them next - Amelia plays top seed Fiona Crawley of UNC and Angelica plays #3 seed Lea Ma of Georgia.
Amelia and her partner Nell Miller were too strong for Angelica and Alexis Blokhina in doubles.
Alicia Dudeney and her partner from University of Florida got through on match tiebreaker.
Great win for Sofia Johnson and her partner from Old Dominion over #4 seeds from Oklahoma
A loss for Kira Reuter and her partner from UCSB against the duo from Virginia.
So tomorrow Wednesday Angelica and Amelia play round of 16 singles and Amelia / Nell , Alicia and Sofia play round of 16 doubles.

Thanks for the update, Danny! Is there an up to date view of the draws (or brackets as the Americans like to call them!) for womens and mens - the NCAA site seems to be at least a round behind and showing the last 32 in singles and not the last 16 draw?

Brilliant ! Super results.
Keep going, girls
And really looking forward to seeing Nell, and Angie, and Millie, and Sofia, and Alicia, etc. play in the UK this summer
Fantastic results for Angelica and Amelia today ! Both make the quarterfinals. Amelia beat #1 seed Fiona Crawley of UNC 6-1, 1-6 , 6-3 . Angelica beat #3 seed Lea Ma from Georgia 6-4 7-6 (7-0 )
Amelia now plays Carol Lee of Georgia Tech and Angelica plays Layne Sleeth of Oklahoma.
When was the last time the LTA had 2 women in the NCAA quarter finals ?

Samuel and Thomson, the No. 1 overall seed in the Doubles Championship, take on No. 10 Ozan Baris and Max Sheldon of Michigan State in their first round match
Samuel and Thomson's All-American season comes to an end in the Round of 32 Tough going out as the no 1 seeds.

Doubles updates later !
Congrats to Alicia getting through to quarters in doubles giving her All American doubles status . Losses though for Sofia and Nell / Amelia in their rounds of 16 doubles.
I know Millie's dad sometimes comes on this forum, and I seem to remember that a friend of the family of Angie's does too (no idea about Alicia's family but I've met the dad at Surbiton)
So huge congrats to the girls, and to their families and friends - and keep going ! #goodluck
So, we have 3 players in QF action in mens and womens - Amelia, Angelica, and Arthur? Plus Alicia in womens doubles? The mens doubles draw I can see still seems to show us in the last 64 stage so not sure who is left in that now or what stage they have reached?
2 things I have learnt from this:
1) NCAA dont seem to have any ability to keep casual fans up to date on what is going on - which is annoying for those of us that just dip in !!
2) It seems to be a British success here this year your first name has to begin with an "A" - no if's or but's , just a plain A!!!
I am assuming therefore that anyone left in the mens doubles from GB will start with an A also?!
Apparently, her win was thanks to "some big serving on critical points" (Colette Lewis is the font of all knowledge here)
Good point about our A team, Jon - I should have mentioned Arthur too (have sat next to his parents at the Bank of England club too )
So the singles looks like this:
Women's D-I quarterfinals will feature 4 unseeded players and 4 No. 9 seeds:
Rajecki(NCST) v Lee[9](GATECH)
Blake(STAN) v Sleeth(OKLA)
Akli[9](SCAR) v Sieg[9](USC)
Tian[9](UCLA) v Miller(MICH)
Men's
Spizzirri[1](TEX) v Styler[8](MICH)
Fery[3](STAN) v Cassone(AZST)
Rodesch[9](UVA) v Bernard(OHST)
Fenty(MICH) v Quinn[2](UGA)
PS the only thing I can see re doubles is that second seeds, our Jake Fearnley+, withdrew - probably just to be nice to Jon and because his name didn't begin with A
