I'm quite looking forward to this now. I was originally more interested in the Netherlands-Spain tie, but due to withdrawals, this will get my attention this weekend, and good that the BBC are covering it. It looks like the Red Button are covering Friday, but it looks like other sports take priority there on the Saturday, so probably restricted to online / iPlayer that day, which is a bit annoying as it's a lot more accessible (on Sky) via the Red Button.

No sign of Harriet there, and not tagged, so not sure if she's a late withdrawal, or just arriving later of something? No idea who the 4th person is, presumably a coach - anyone know?

Harriet didn't do great in the Colombian altitude, but she did quite well in Slovakia last year, so ideally you would have wanted her to still be the #2, so hopefully she's still involved. If not, I'd be half tempted to thrown Sonay in at the deep end.

Edit - False alarm. Harriet was in an LTA IG story, so that's good, and should be the #2. smile

On LTA site it states the matches ( who plays who ) on sat / sun, then says the tie starts on Friday. Scratch head ?

I t may be doubles sat - I just saw the gap between reverse singles and doubles and assumed - there were no dates on the posts I saw.

 Yeah, they are always 2 day matches nowadays, as are the Davis Cup Regional/Qualifying matches in the best of 3 sets format.

LTA site is a bit muddled. It has the dates as 15 and 16 th April and that the two days are Sat and Sun

BUT 15th and 16th April = Fri and Sat smile

Yep, definitely starts tomorrow. BBC Red Button has it scheduled from 11-3pm, but nothing live after it so would presumably run over until both singles matches are finished, if required.

Interesting that the Czechs have three players making their debuts - Martincova, Bouzkova and Fruhvirtova. Shows the depth of talent they have.
