12 games in a row for Marketa. Harriet did have a few moments in that streak, and maybe could have nicked another game or two, but obviously vast levels / surface preference. I'd be half tempted to throw Sonay in tomorrow, although I guess it depends on how the next match goes and match order tomorrow, as she might not get the chance.

First ever pro clay match for Emma, very interested to see how she gets on, and fingers crossed she can make it 1-1.

Edit - looks like Emma vs Marketa is match 3, regardless of what happens in the 2nd rubber.

Very well done.  I hadn't really expected that.

Though looking at the last couple of years Martincova's clay court record is not great. More experience on it than Emma though!
