In your opinion, do you seeing her playing Les Petits As in Jan?
Or would she be close to making the qualis in AO?

Les Petits As without question. I think it's still an event its important to her to try to win.

She probably would just about get into AO qualifying if she wants to and has a tournament available on her allowance, but as it's her last chance at Les Petits As she'll favour going there over Aus.

Actually, I hadn't realised the entry deadline for Junior AusO has already closed and Hannah hasn't entered. Which perhaps confirms that either she hasn't any tournaments left and/or shes planning to play Les Petits As.

According to both her interviews in the US, there was no mention of Les Petits As

Someone did mention maybe she's expecting a wildcard to the AO?

But, tbh, that seems unlikely

Of course, there's also Christmas, and school, and getting ready for whatever she's got planned as of Feb when she turns 14

Should enjoy a good summer of opportunity still only year 9 so school work shouldnt be too heavy. Pretty certain both Holly Fischer & Emma Rad got senior qualifying wildcards at 14 with Emma doing a bit of damage to Stefkova taking a set off her.

Just to note that Hannah Klugman turned 14 over the weekend.

So she now can play a certain number of adult ITFs/WTAs etc

Given that the 14 year-old German girl she lost narrowly to in Les Petits As last year is now WTA 823, I think Hannah isn't far off making her mark in adults too (not that there's any rush for it)

I think more telling was her narrow loss to 16 year old Bartunkova in 3 tight sets a couple of weeks back In a ITF Junior event. The Czech girl has been as high ranked as 267 in the WTA rankings.
I reckon we wont see her in ITF adult competition until the April ITFs that are on in Nottingham. As she can only play 8 adult events. Build up to it with a reasonable amount of junior events and maybe a BT premier event if there is one.

I was just trying to find one closer to her in age but they're all good examples....

I expect you're right about April. But that's when the Junior Nationals are too, though (it's well possible she'll choose to skip those, of course - it's not as though she needs to go that route for the Wimbly quali wildcard or whatever - however, I guess she'd like to have a go at the U18 if she could)

Looks like they are all grade 2 in next few months but maybe a UKPL would work, they are having one before those events and the league structure might be good for her. Thats if they allow 14 year olds into the UKPL?

She's down to play the J100 in Hamburg at the start of March

She has German family, I believe, so may well have relatives there too, which provides another nice reason to go

And then I've heard people expect her to play the two Loughboroughs

But I don't think she'll play three events back to back - she's got school work - they're not high enough in importance - so she may well be on all three entry lists but I'd be suprised if she played them all

Not personally convinced about her gaining much from entering UKPL given how well she played against Alice Gillan. Okay, she'll get a decent number of matches in, but some of those will be pointless encounters in which Hannah hands out double bagels to Jizel Fernandes and Nadia Rawson before facing more of a challenge in Malygina/Stresnakova/Vasilescu.

It's genuinely tricky to see what the best option is. If I were her I'd be half tempted at trying an ITF event before Nottingham in April.

If she wants any grass WCs she will have to play the Junior Nationals. Juniors are not eligible for WCs to the summer grass events if they do not play the Junior Nationals without supporting medical evidence for their reason not to play. I think that's new this year.

Following the Junior Nationals is a J200 in Aldershot which I thought she may play. That clashes with the 2nd week of Nottingham and may hinder playing the 3rd week of Nottingham. It depends on what her priorities are. She may want to build up junior ranking points to get direct entry to the junior US Open.
