I've been checking the draw and 7 higher ranked seeds lost in Q3 so will be in line for LL spots. I think that means Harriet has to win if she's to make it through to the MD.
In 12 completed FQR matches there are already 7 losers seeded higher than Harriet so as expected she won't make the LL draw if she loses unless a few more suddenly pull out.
(q4) Sherif and (q8) Kucova will be in the 5 currently needed for the LL draw.
Edit : we agree then !

Re the number of seeds, I did wonder if Katie somehow got word that that avenue was closed as I think there were 5 seeds already out when she started picking up her game or maybe it was just magic pills taking a while to kick in.

I've been keeping a list as well. Seven so far, with two still to play (well, Dodin has played one game). So, yes, Harriet needs to win.
Emma's best performance since the Cirstea match at Wimbledon. Made a few unforced errors and could have done without the two dfs and poor drive volley that got her broken in the 2nd set but lots of aggressive tennis, high first serve percentage, returned well against Sherif's first serve.
Kristina looked utterly bewildered at the end of the match against Katie. A break up, she played a shocking service game to get broken, then Katie's first serve appeared out of nowhere, firing two aces and two forehand winners immediately after her serve, as she held to love. Two errors from Kristina to start at *4-5, then two from Katie for 30-30, A super return from Katie to get it back to 40-40, df and a forehand down the line winner from Boulter for the unlikely win.
