Mens Singles - Gold Gordon Reid, Silver Alfie Hewett
Quads Singles - Silver Andy Lapthorne
Mens Doubles - Silver Reid and Hewett
Quads Doubles - Bronze - Burdekin and Lapthorne
Womens Doubles - Bronze Shuker and Whiley
1 Gold
3 Silver
2 Bronze
In six events - would be great to equal or beat that this time. Realistically, I reckon 4-5 medals with 1 gold (Hewett and Reid in mens doubles) is what we should hope for. Let's see!!
Paralympics start 27th August - Tokyo
US Open - start 9th September - New York
World Team Cup start 27th September - Sardinia
NEC Masters - start 31st October - Orlando
So, we should see some wheelchair candidates in our Player of the Month polls in September (period for PoM in September is 5 weeks to 3rd October when World Team Cup ends), when 3 of the above events will be counting in total!, and then in November and season end for the Wheelchair Tour

Draws are out , see article below , pdf versions at bottom
Although the draws arent out, slams are 8 player fields in singles and doubles, usually the top 6 or 7 entries and a wild card.
Alfie, Gordon, Jordanne and Andy should be playing therefore, Lucy Shuker will miss out, I think, and Antony Cotterill and Dermot Bailey from our Paralympic team will be too lowly ranked.
At the US Open this week, 3 players/pairs (in 6 events) are going for their 4th Slam title of the season and, thus, a Grand Slam
Womens Singles - Diede de Groot (NL)
Quad Singles - Dylan Alcott (AUS)
Mens Doubles - Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid (GB)
De Groot and Alcott also won the Paralympics and so are on for a Golden Slam. To add, Alcott hasnt lost a set in the previous 3 slams this season, so a similar feat this week would make for a perfect run.
Action starts tomorrow in this, no order of play out as far as I can tell, just yet. but it runs through from Thursday to doubles finals on Saturday and singles finals on Sunday.
