Looking at live rankings, they have added points for Fran in their live list - will qualies points go on next week rather than waiting until the actual main event in February, which is what normally happens?

Yes, just as the French Open, Wimbledon and US Open 2019 champions have kept these title points.

Kenin will be playing for another Grand Slam title and prize money but not additional ranking points.

Jana Fett up next for Fran, Fran beat her in their only match in Istanbul in October, 3 sets.

Fran should go into it with no fear.

I suspect not. live-tennis often adds points right away though this would be rather more in advance than usual.

 Jana Fett should have beaten Caroline Wozniacki in the 2018 AO. 5-1 up and match points and lost. Was never the same afterwards. Remember Fett being very busy for Croatia at Fed Cup at Bath in 2019.

How Fran avoided going a double break down I don't know. Huge fight in that fifth game. Shame not to serve it out, but I do enjoy watching her play. Gutsy tennis.
