A Watt Bike changes where you want to live? And did they send one to every player?

I know Harriet Dart and Neal Skupski got one, not sure about the rest.

 Think Liam did too.

Katie Dunne didn't get one (at least to start with) - her brother rigged up a bike for her

 Katy Dunne not Katie.

Well done Fran over an opponent who has proved tricky in the past.

Very nice win for Fran that will encourage her for 2021 - she looked sharp and Nicolescu didn't. Just finished watching the conclusion to Harriet's match afterwards - Min through, which is a shame. Having watched Fran's match, it would be unfair to say too much about the five games I saw of Harriet's match, but Min looked in control and fairly comfortable.

Harriet will lose her ranking points from last years AO. A big fall down the rankings.

They are doing best of 20/21 for tournaments through to end of March I believe, so she won't.

Disappointing result though, that was a good draw she had. Hopefully the injury that interrupted her right at the end of the year has cleared up.

Super from Fran. Her section is very open.

Will she? I thought points were not coming of in Q1 of is that just Mens?

Set my alarm for 7 hoping to catch the 2nd set of either match, but managed to sleep in and miss both.

Fantastic win for Fran. One match at a time of course, but she may well be slight favourite to progress from the section now, especially with #2 seed Dodin crashing out yesterday. Another former top 100 player up next in Jana Fett, who Fran beat a couple of months ago in an indoor W25 (after recovering from a bagel),

Shame about Harriet, but I would have taken one win from the two matches.

I thought that it was only the ATP that had announced an extension of 'best of' until March.

But in fact 2020 week 1 points have not come off in either the ATP or WTA 11/01 rankings. So looks like the WTA are similarly extending 'best of' into 2021 and not taking points off for now.

Sleeping in is good biggrin

My theory is to hibernate until Easter

So, glad to wake up and see a super win for Fran.

And glad to have missed Harriet's disappointing score.

To be honest was just guessing. But what happens in  AO if Kenin loses in the 1St round in 2021 will she still   keep her  winners ranking points  from 2020?
