The bottle is the same shape and size as the meths bottles on sale in Wickes DIY shops.  Dan was savvy enough to remove the label.  AKA  "red biddy" in the less salubrious areas of Glasgow as it is subtantially more affordable than Carlsberg Special Brew.  Meths is over 90% ethanol, roughly double your average gin or Vodka.  Pyridine is added to it to make it smell and taste horrid. But Special Brew doesn't taste great either, does it?  And Pyridine is properly toxic. Dan was  wisely only taking very small sips

Dan is last match on today, most likely to start in the middle of the evening.  I agree that he has a much better chance against Grigor than he would have had against Stefanos.

SF:  Jamie Murray & Neal Skupski CR 52 (25+27) defeated Robert Farah & Fabrice Martin (COL/FRA) CR 25 (1+24) by 4 & 4  ban-woohoo.gif

The benefit of being an established partnership?

Well, they lost to Karen and Rublev in R1 a couple of weeks ago so I guess an established partnership really didn't help there.

But pleased for them, and good luck in the final, lads.

OK, but I guess we are talking here about top level establised doubles players in a non established partnership rather than top singles players giving it a go together, which is probably more unpredictabe.

Pleased to see that I didn't jinx him yesterday:

QF:  (SE) Daniel Evans WR 33 defeated Grigor Dimitrov (BUL) WR 20 by 7-6(3) 4-6 6-3 biggrin

******

SF:  (LL) Lorenzo Sonego (ITA) WR 42 (= CH) vs (SE) Daniel Evans WR 33

He'll never have a better chance...
