I thought she played really well until the second half of the tiebreak. Does anyone have any idea on her stats over last few years in terms of coming back from going a set down? It feels like a rarity with Hev these days but that could be completely wrong.
Edit- well this year she did so against Mertens and Pliskova so looks like Im full of crap

Good tennis to go up *2-0 and again then goes walk about
2-1*
Just too patchy, so annoying when the tennis is right there. She can win these matches she just can't keep her tennis neat and tight in the crunch moments.

Completely agree with the first bit - it was the second half of the tiebreak that killed her - and for no reason (unlike the couple of faults earlier on which were good shot selection and SO close).
Maybe it is because i care more but Brits, women and men, always seem over the years to have had problems with mental strenghth in tight situations. I always expect or feel the Brit will be the one to cave in. Back to Wade, Barker, Durie, on the womens side and men such as John Lloyd, it has always felt that way to me...Andy, Dan buck that trend nowadays although I am not sure about the women? Are our women mentally strong? I dont watch enough to know so cant personally comment other than raise the question...

Nah, I don't think so.
Just look what Mladenovic has done today - after what happened in the US
No-one on God's sweet earth could show less mental strength
