Trump

And is this really a movement which is all about freedom to do what you want. But if youre against us, youre anti freedom and thus youre the enemy. Youre free so long as you dont disagree.

Be safe. Be well. Look after each other.

Please don't stop posting about America smile

That's why we have a Trump thread ! And Brexit. And indeed all general chat threads - it's not like hijacking a tennis one.

It's very interesting to read your posts. Please keep 'em coming.

Indeed, please keep posting about the US and Trump. Folk don't come to this thread to discuss Trump's backhand.

Your posts are very interesting, often very alarming and give us much insight. While I am very doubtful about some of your conclusions it is very interesting to hear the context and further information that leads you to these.

Stay safe.

My USA colleagues said Trumps various social media accounts have been removed. About time!! the man is dangerous and delusional. They also think a rarely used law could be used to remove him from office......

Mark Zuckerberg has banned him from Facebook and Instagram, at least until after the handover of power to Biden.

His Twitter suspension has technically run out as it was due to last for 12 hours but I don't know if they have renewed the ban or let him loose again.

 He is on Twitter again.

Trump has now been PERMANENTLY banned from Twitter.

But watch out for this guy wink

Rumours Trump will be arrested for inciting a riot, mean that he has had to come out with statements recommending peace.
He really does throw his toys out of the pram when he doesn't get what he wants....

Saw it on the news today that having been banned from Twitter, Trump has now started posting on an "ultra right" equivalent" social media platform called Parler. It is now becoming so provocative in its conspiracy theories that Google and Apple have now removed it from its Play Store.

Trump is definitely not finished in his own mind and will continue to be disruptive.

From an article by Simon Briggs about Kyle Edmund

"Meanwhile, the former Australian Open finalist John Lloyd a British great who now lives in Florida has revealed himself as a hardcore Donald Trump supporter. Lloyd, who has played golf with Trump on several occasions, posted the following message about Joe Biden on Facebook: Yes he is President Elect and no he didnt win the election fair and square."

Heres the question- how welcome will foreign visitors , Brits, be in the future. Not from the authorities but from the people? Is the MAGA movement anti anything not from America and should we be worried ?

There will always be a small minority of xenophobes in every country, I sincerely hope it will not become worse, hoping Joe Biden can unite people moving forwards.

Hopefully no impact on international student, increased diversity surely a good thing?

The real apprentice hed have gone in round 1.

Hopefully the US indeed all democratic countries we will learn from his brazen attempt to undermine democracy (and the methodology behind it) how to protect the democratic process. Imagine if he had been in charge of a Balkan state during the break up of the former Yugoslavia, without the blanket media coverage the US president gets the consequences could have been horrendous.

Is Senator Ted Cruz set to be the new Trump ?

Apparently the Paris Climate Accord is to do with the citizens of Paris.
