Sophya has just lost 4-6 in the third, against a not particularly impressive French girl.
Sophya seems the classic sort of youngster we were mentioning a week or so back - already 14, she's very tall and grown up for her age, looks like an 18 year-old. So has a big physical advantage. But her tennis is not anything very special (based on what I saw today and, obviously, just a personal opinion without any real basis).
Henry Searle (not streamed) has made his LL spot count even more by winning his R2 match too
Tough match for Sophya, but yes a huge physical advantage versus most of the other 14u girls. her opponent has had some strong results in TEs. Great result for Hepzibah today and a strong challenge versus another 2007 Brenda Fruhvitova in round 3 - should be a great watch.

Yes - I saw Sophy's at the Wirral and thought she was one of the coaches....
