Here is the updated table based on the official rankings of 02 March 2020. I'll publish the updated spreadsheet later this evening (note that it won't always load - sometimes the server appears to be down)
In view of the freezing of the rankings, I will post an interim predictions table in the next few days, based on OER prediction for the end of this month.
This means that Brydan's points for Australia and Jack's points for SA can be included. Once the official rankings resume, I'll do an update, which will sort out any anomalies.
Checking on the leading British singles players the table is indeed the 09/03 points plus any points additionally earned from wb 02/03 and 09/03 tournaments minus nothing ( eg. Brydan adds his 2020 points but doesn't lose his 2019 points for this period ).
Hopefully the WTA will produce updated tables on the same basis. The WTA site currently shows 16/03 ranking points exactly the same as the 09/03 points, ie. no additions for such as Sam and Jodie.

A quick check shows that AsYouWere is down to 65 points, and has a lead of just three points. As Indi has done a check on the rankings, I can check my data and publish more details over the weekend.
So this is where we stand right now. I have used OER rankings which are frozen as at 16th March. Far to early in the season to be of much significance, with some big moves in the table - but then, it might be the end of the season for all we know ............
I finally got round to updating the table using the frozen rankings. A few changes in the rankings from the last post as one or two players moved a few places. So one or two of you will have moved a little, but when the rankings will resume later in the year remains in doubt.
As the season gets moving again, I thought I'd bring the tables up to date. I have used the official rankings as of 31st August, taken from the OER webpage.
A few movements in the players rankings has made a slight difference. The competition table shows the changes since the original entries
I'll be closing this competition soon as only a few players are stil active. I'm not certain if any of ourplayers have entered tournaments over the next few weeks, but as Ryan is still playing, I'll wait a little longer.

looking at the entries lists, aiming at the same date as the womens side ie after events of w.c 7th December , seems a sensible option. There are a few entries into qualies w.c 14th but they wouldnt hit the rankings until post Xmas (are they still 1 week lag?) and none of them are top 10 players in GB terms (I think Paul Jubb is the highest ranked player out there). Ryan seems to have withdrawn from Maia Challenger qualies next week as he is still in Heraklion , semis, and so has nothing else lined up now
It's really about the GB top 20 rather than the top 10 - 17 players have nominations, which is why I am keeping an eye on Ryan's progress. Not many points for those tournaments, but every point will boost his ranking.
