Pity about the rain. Lissey is a break up in the second set, and I rather fancied her to win this one, having watched them both play last year at Chiswick.

She found the second set much tougher after coming back overnight. She held in that opening game of the second set, but then lost the next 6 games. 3-6 1-6.

Katie is actually the betting favourite against Parmentier. I thought Gabi was up against Sramkova for some reason, but even though Katy beat her on grass the other week, Smitkova will be tough.

Yes, I was surprised how much a bookie favourite Katie was.

It's been really close so far.... nothing really between them - the French woman with maybe just the better of it.
And the stream has just gone down..... :(
