Whilst we wait for further news on Brit entrants here this weekend, I'm going to open the thread. So far we only know that Maia has a MDWC. On the entry list there are no Brits at all in the current MD and q lists, with Naiktha as 15th alt the highest placed Brit on the entry list...
Top 100 players entered are Parmentier, Rybarikova, Linette, and Brengle.
So what do we expect to see in terms of WCs? Assuming the other 3 MDWCs haven't been announced, we should know more in a few hours as I'd imagine it will be 2 of Sam, Gabi and Naomi in the main draw (joining Maia who is confirmed, and Katie S), with one of those 3 settling for a QWC.
Alicia and EWS didn't get much change in Manchester in the main draw, but the fact they got MDWCs, may put them above others in the QWC running. If Vic has some spare then she did fairly well in a losing effort in quals, Emily Ap won a match in quals, and Holly Hutchinson put up a good effort as well. Holly Staff and Rajecki are in the Q list and are quite highly thought of so they could be in contention.
I hope Katie S does appear here, but she is not on the entry list at all. Naomi is also not on the entry list. The entry list is only a partial guide now though because of those given QWCs in Birmingham who are on the list here - Naiktha, Eden, Beth, Tara and Freya.
Yeah, I suppose the Maia being announced first and not with Katie S is a bit confusing / potentially concerning, unless Katie S was expecting to play Birmingham and then when the WCs went elsewhere had a change of heart and opted for Ilkley main draw instead? I did notice Naomi not there which I was surprised about, but as you say, it is just a partial guide and we saw the likes of Paula Badosa Gibert take a late WC into the W60 event that Katy won, so it can be done.
I guess we might not fully know anyway if Naomi isn't in the Q draw, because it may still be a less suspected GB player getting a surprise MDWC and we're still no wiser if Katie S and / or Naomi is in the main draw.
Q draw should be out soon, or may already be for some people, given how strange that ITF site is in terms of being available to people at different times.
I thought Staff and Rajecki might have had a chance, but Fischer is a big surprise, although a fairly welcome one in my opinion - good luck to them. Not too bad draws either, relatively speaking. En Shuo Liang played in Surbiton last week and then had a match in Asia for Taiwan in their Fed Cup tie either this past Thursday or Friday (I was mainly checking to see if Garland was involved, which she wasn't, to hopefully keep that switch alive...), so Holly S might have half a chance there if she can catch her off cold.
I guess that might mean Katie S isn't in the main draw after all. Sam, Gabi, Naomi, Maia would be my prediction.

There should be two qualifying rounds tomorrow, but looks like their only scheduling one? You wouldn't put a QR1 match 4th on Court if there was a QR2 to come.

Women's qualifying is Monday & Tuesday according to the provisional schedule on the LTA site.

Must be, but according to the ITF factsheet it's all tomorrow.
