Bit jealous about Nottingham. I'm going to Eastbourne but not until the Friday so maybe a bit optimistic to see any Brits apart from maybe Jo.

Lingering fatigue from a long clay season, during which Konta played 19 matches in six weeks, is a concern. Last night, she sensibly withdrew from the Nature Valley Open in Nottingham, due to start on Monday, to allow for a longer period of rest. Her first appearance on grass is likely to be at the Nature Valley Classic in Birmingham, starting on June 17.

Great fight from Dan. Great spirit. 

I saw Dan had an mto early in the third. Couldn't see on my little screen what it was for. Anyone know?

Certainly seemed well bouncy, though, in the final stages so nothing of note?

Apparently. midway through the 3rd set, the court announcer called Dan's doubles match only to realise that Dan was still playing his singles. So Dan might have a very quick turnaround now, but at least he will go into his doubles on a high.

The Surbiton announcer just started to call Dans doubles match to court 3. But then they must have twigged that he was still playing his singles match @DanEvansFanPage is good but even he cant play singles & dubs at the same time. #SurbitonTrophy
