And another well done to 2005-born, Ranah, who is now close to the top-800

Girls Top 150 JWR (I've put the top 150 this week because we have a group just outside the top 100 who've gone up, albeit without playing) and main upward movers:

Ola Pitak (WTA 925), Tanusha Dissanayake (WTA 1130) and Chloe Compson (WTA 1243) are also juniors, although not JWR ranked.
It doesn't take an expert to say that it's a pretty 'skinny' group - only 7 in the top 500 once the 2001-ers drop out, and very little (as it stands) to back up Matilda and Emma who are the two who, on paper from above, stand out.
Only 2 juniors ahead of Lui who were born after him. Lets hope he has another good week this week (Although just checking he has a terrible draw against the lad that won last weeks event.)

Seagull's Lui is up another 9 places (he must be very close to now top-100 for next year, i.e. once all the 2001-ers drop out).
And a nice jump up for 2003-born Derrick Chen too.

Huge jump for Matilda, thanks to her exploits in South Africa
The 2005-born Philippino girl who won, though, has leapt ahead of her (along with the Czech girl) so Matilda is now third best in terms of age (just in junior rnakings, ignoring players like Coco Gauff).
