Good start for Emma she has already exceeded her seeding here, while its nice to have junior success she has bigger fish to fry but my assumption is that with changes and evolution of the transition tour a top junior rank will give her easier access to 25 and 60Ks?
Emma loses her 3rd WTA counter in Feb. Given what is happening, she will need to keep an eye on WTA, ITF and junior rankings
I think Emma will get a lot of LTA wildcards so it will not be such an issue for her.
It would be far better if she could do without their "help" both personally and professionally.
They've paid so much money for her training, I don't think Emma will turn her back on them.
I dont understand the anti LTA sentiment here, I think many other juniors and their families would have killed for the support Emma has (in my view quite rightly) been provided given the level at which she has been able to play in relation to her peers Internationally.
Am I missing something? She was really well supported through the summer and nicely set up for transition with some sensible adult wildcards which tested her at the next level. Where is the downside?
Lets hope she has a really successful couple of weeks.

??? She didn't play her first pro-tour match until end of March last year. Her first WTA counter to drop off is in June with 1 point from Manchester and her run in Wirral in November is sufficient for her to keep a WTA ranking that would be largely unaffected until November.
I expect Emma is only going to play the slams at junior level. Junior ranking only gets you into 15s and her WTA ranking should be sufficient to get her into any 15s main draw so that her junior ranking should be of no relevance for her pro career. She does need to keep playing 15s this year to get into 25s later in the year given she is age restricted with the number of wildcards she can receive.

But it was much tighter in the Copenhagen Cup in the Autumn of 2017 the only time they have meet on a Hatd surface, Emma took a set of Clara in their first round meeting and that was the only set she lost in winning the tournament. Emma also has the higher senior rank, a very tough test but not a foregone conclusion.
