Well, as starting guide for these years prediction rankings, if anyone wants to see the decimation the new ranking system has had on our WTA ranks, and in particular what effect the removal of 15k points from players' rankings has, here it is. As you can see Jodie Burrage will now be our new #10 next week - though the last picture of her showed her on crutches - whilst with the loss of her early year 15k points Fran drops to 14th. Emily App has the most decimated ranking - the top 500 for her now a seeming pipedream unless she can make progress in 25ks this year. Emma R also suffers a rankings drop owing to her 15k points, and all of our end of season point scoring group, drop out of the WTA rankings altogether and will only feature in the transition rankings. 

Scratch your heads and ponder indeed for this year's predictions....
