Not sure what conditions are like, but Katie's serving stats are woeful.

She's only won 7 points on serve (19 against) and only won 18% of 1st serve points.

*5-3 Watson, but another break point for Katie. Weird match it seems.

Instead of 1 break in serve which you might have expected, there were 7. Only 2 holds, none for Katie.

I very rarely expect just one break of serve in a women's match, the kind of match Katie had yesterday.

Oh I think it could be clear - another late night is a strong possibility and anyting can happen !

For once I'm actually glad it isn't streamed - I don't think I could bear to watch. But I finally decided to come off the fence and hope that Hev can pull it off - she needs the points and the confidence more right now, and Katie will get into the top 100 soon anyway.

I've spent 10 minutes on the useles Activeboard search page trying to locate the source thread for a "Tara" for those that don't rememeber it, but to no avail.... yet.
Cheers, it certainly originated on twitter and I am sure involved Tara herself and Steven making good use of his well known diplomacy skills. But word spread to the forum. I haven't myself tried a search.

LOL yes, the Tarithmetic paradox Well found (I seem to remember tweeting congrats to her on making the top 200 just before she tweeted that but I can't be bothered to look for it) and often brought up since

With hindsight, I was far too diplomatic, I should have ripped the p*** out of her in my reply, but it seemed silly to do that when she was being the complete opposite of self-congratulatory. And of course, if I had, I might not have got that ticket for the Surbiton SF a few weeks ago (was I forward planning without even knowing it? LOL - in reality, I never think about things like that, my conscience couldn't take it), though I get the impression that Tara is far too easy-going to hold grudges over trivia like that anyway!

Presumably Katie knows that a top 100 place is at stake and that might explain why she's suddenly serving so badly (hope not though, since that might imply Hev's not playing well either)
