For those interested, I had a quick tot up of our QUALIFIER winners on grass this season.

List to be updated as Eastbourne (Dunne results included to date), Roehampton qualies happen - non at Southsea of course.

Also I have excluded the Wimbledon Pre Qualifiers, this is just pure qualifying wins

List headed up by Brydan Klein and Ed Corrie, which may or may not surprise some. Katy Dunne might draw equal with a good win tomorrow in Eastbourne. Jonathan Gray could possibly haul up to 3 wins but would need to perform well in Eastbourne.

It would also be informative to add a denominator not that I think it should impact the outcome unless the scores on the doors are equal. Big fan of total wickets as the most significant stat in assessing bowlers performance over a season again then less interest in a denominator although it adds some flavour. Great thread thanks

I do actually keep a track of number of events they've gained wins in, the idea being someone scoring 3 wins in 3 events is better than 3 wins in one event, rewarding consistent Performance as opposed to one off. I'll reshow both lists using that tonight as a second denomination . 

Matches won v lost and sets won v lost is probably the obvious thing but requires more work than I have tracked and more commitment that I could give !

 the interesting thing in this qualifier list is that most of the top listed players won't be playing any more qualifying matches. The one major exception is Dan, so he could conceivably win this list and also come up trumps and win on the main draw list also. Katie dunne can draw equal at top on 4 wins if she wins today , but only Dan can better a score of 4 with two wins or more in Roehampton.  

Then maybe some folk missed the "Main Draw" part of the title.

 Hi Oakland - yes, as Indy says the poll and my subsequent results tracking has been main draw wins only, although Dan playing at Challenger level in MD matches was clearly going to still be too his potential advantage. 

I perhaps confused matters by looking at the qualifying results as well. To clarify, Dan has 7 main draw wins, putting him equal top with Harriet, but also has 3 qualifying wins, all of which were at Surbiton. 

Of course, the LTA tried to even things up by a) putting Dan into pre quals to ensure he couldnt play Eastbourne and  b) would have to win 6 matches to  even reach Wimbledon. 

Clearly, the LTA chaps and chappesses voted for Harriet to win this challenge. 

I should just add that no change to the main  draw table at all in past couple of days as no action (in the qualifying list, no change either apart from lower down where Jay gathered a win).
