Week 7 - ATP 250 - Argentina Open - Buenos Aires (clay)

Kyle has for sometime been the highest ranked player without an ATP final appearance, with his present rank I am sure he is now the highest ranked player without an ATP tittle. But may be wrong.

Cometh the time cometh the man!

Kyle appears to have been replaced by LL Gastao Elias.

For those who still are interested, Aljaz Bedene won comfortably against Vesely in round one today.

For me, I still keep an eye on Aljaz, and want him to do well (unless hes playing one of the players still competing for GB of course).

On that note Aljaz has rather impressively dispatched Albert Ramos-Vinolas 3-6 7-5 6-1. Aljaz couldn't get his first serve going early on but once it started to fire he was pretty dominant. I like to think he was getting a little bit of revenge for the GB Davis Cup team out there.

Another win and Aljaz will equal his career high ranking.

Also, Kyle is up to a live 25 ranking, which would be a CH if held onto. He will overtake Tsonga, who was injured in last week's Montpellier SF ( hamstring ) so is unable to try and defend his Rotterdam title points from last year.

I like that, good luck to Aljaz, thanks to those who are still reporting on him on the forum.

Aljaz is up a break 4-2 against Shwartzman. Go Aljaz, but has been broken back, so 4-3.
