Week 7 - ATP 250 - Argentina Open - Buenos Aires (clay)

Aljaz defeated Schwartman 6-4 6-4 and today beat Delbonis 6-4 2-6 6-1 to make the final and comfortably take out his previous CH. He will play Thiem in the final which is a big step up in competition but clearly Aljaz is in some good from right now.

He's playing for the River Plate Championship title, fourth oldest tennis tournament in the world (1890 something, started by the British of course - railway builders and engineers) behind Wimbledon, U.S Open and the French. Great club, the BALTC with a good mix of pros, juniors and adult members all at it.

if he wins perhaps Aljaz can claim it as the true 4th slam ahead of Melbourne!?

Good luck to Aljaz today I really hope he can pull it off and claim his first (?) ATP title. Going to be tough though!
