Actually showed his match point on Eurosport (in same outfit as Kyle!)
Greg gave a brief overview of him and said we should also look out for Jack Draper and Jack Pinnington-Jones
Greg also mentioned Matusevich. But failed to mention Loffhagen, our number one (before this competition). Greg's knowledge is pretty shaky - Andy Murray's is far more reliable. Aidan's problem is that he is quite small and slight - it's not perfect. Although he may grow some more, of course.....But, in terms of his tennis pure, as said last year, he stands out hugely from the crowd.
Aidan has played Tseng twice recently, losing in the Mexican G1 but coming out on top last week in the Australian G1. They should be on court around 6am GMT.
In case anyone was baffled by Paulisi's comment I think he is referring to Sebastian Korda (son of the former men's champion Petr), through to the semis, rather than the country Korea
As for JonH's original question, in addition to Jaffa's answer George Morgan was the last British boys semifinalist here in 2011 (losing to Jiri Vesely) while the last finalist (and winner) was James Baily in 1993
Mike Dickson unfortunately put it this way, which led to Katie Swan getting rather indignant !

Glasgow's Aidan McHugh, 17, becomes GB's 1st junior Grand Slam semi-finalist since a certain Kyle Edmund at Wimbledon 2013 with a 6-4 6-2 win over Japan's Hijikita. Seems a quick-witted lad.

What about me? haha but yesss @aidymchugh let's go!!
Thanks for the answers, I had forgotten about Kyle at Wimbledon 2013 and of course George Morgan - is George Morgan playing the game these days or has he retired?
I definitely remember James Baily, quite a lot was made of it back then, I don't think he went on to have much success in seniors though? That transition is so tough.

That's what happens when you post at silly o'clock and forget predictive text is on.....you are correct.

Best make the point yourself rather than await a caustic Andy response.
Very impressed that 16 year-old Clara Burel from France has made the final of the girls. She's ranked 33 but beat the top seed ranked 4 (junior rankings, as ever, being pretty irrelevant).
She's played a lot of our British players in the last year so her name will be familiar to those who follow juniors.
