Well credit to whoever posted for you. Well done indeed !
looks like my entry for last year, odd that it should have been so effective when half of them are nowhere near to being right
There's some big points coming in there such as the within 5% 5 points for the WR positions of both Gabi ( just 6 places out ) and Katy D ( just 7 places out ). It's often some good WR predictions that helps clinch things. Most folk tend to be well out with WR predictions with most players. That's the tougher scoring part.
Also in GB rankings, you are spot on with half of them - 5 GB points for each of Jo, Heather, Gabi, Katie S and Katy D and 4 points for both Katie B and Jodie ( good shout ), just one place out. With your remaining 3 of Naomi, Laura and Tara you would be far from alone in well overestimating but your good is very good.
Well done brendan. I suppose you could say it was last year's entry, since you posted it on Dec 30th 2017
Thanks to Sim for running this again.
Bit of a shake up in the rankings this year with some big rises and falls. Certainly caught me out, although I was more hopeful a couple of weeks ago when I had a couple of rankings almost right to balance out the others which were way out.
Thanks for doing this sim, much fun and as I anticipated a place near the relegation zone for me in the womens side! always next year, planning starts now!
I'd love to take credit but I didn't post an entry for this year in the women's, having finished bottom in the men's it's just as well
Fantastic competition Sim thank you for running it. Loved Brendans contribution made my chortle almost as much as, to give him his full tittle, Jaggy Vandenbergs creepy old mans name game a performance that would have been a credit to Shrek himself. An outstanding thread. Next years will be a really challenge, the battle of Andys hip a few potential tennager rockets on both sides who knows where they will land.
Just to add my thanks to Sim too... There was a point where I had almost talked myself into believing I had included Maia in my 10 rather than Sam Murray... if I'd actually had the wisdom and foresight to do that, then I would have been able to retire gracefully at the top.. As it is, i'll be back next year bracing for the fall... as no doubt many of us choose to go with the young blood instead ....and watch the (comparative) oldies stage a comeback
