It is unfortunate that Liam has to qualify at all. His points from St Petersburg mean that this should be his last appearance in challenger qualies for a while.
Ive seen a fair bit of Tom Fawcett, decent college player big fella, psychologically tough enjoys a bit of mind games nothing to bad just miraculous recovers from injuries, Cam would eat him up, Jay should do the same if on form.
Alex Ward looking to make it three out of three....
And he's leading 6-1 2-0* against top-250 player, Robert O O.

1 and 1, good win for Alex.
Made me think - not sure what Cam is like on clay but assuming that Spain choose clay indoors for DC toe v GB in Feb, Alex Ward could be a candidate to be picked. Kyle and Cam or Kyle and Alex on clay?? Assuming Andy doesnt play of course. Has Cam got any clay experience at all??

He partnered Clay Thompson in the doubles in Aptos
The only times he has played on clay in seniors were the GB clay Futures (remember them?) in 2013 - he went out to Dan Cox in the QFs in Bournemouth, to Borna Coric in QR2 in Edinburgh & to Jason Kubler in R2 in Newcastle. He reached a junior Grade 2 final on clay in 2012 but his singles record on clay courts in top level junior events (GA/G1) was atrocious, though he did quite well in doubles on that surface.
Excellent win for Alex
