More like injury:  he & Mahut, the second seeds in the doubles, lost by 4-6 3-5 retired to Marcus Daniell & Marcelo Demoliner yesterday & the PDF version of the draw puts it down to back pain (PHH).

I am very glad that it is Mr Broady who benefits - thrilled for him. Rough for Mahut and Herbert, though, going out in the first round of a tournament where they were defending champions.

Hmmm looks like Denis and Thanasi have got good cases for Wimby WCs. Much better IMHO than the likes of Wilbomb.

I'm trying to remember ... seem to recall at one point it was a QWC for previous year's champion, but that if they would have made Q by merit, a MD WC. Is that correct? Or am I, like CD, overly affected by the heat?
