Only just catching up with today's games. Not bad hanging around for Liam! - nice E13k in the bank should help fund a few months on tour.

Hmmm looks like Denis and Thanasi have got good cases for Wimby WCs. Much better IMHO than the likes of Wilbomb.

Thanasi is in the MD OK anyway on a PR 91.

And that's Andy out 7-6(4) 6-2 to join Stan and Milos

Appalling performance. Ought to have followed my advice and called the clay season quits after Madrid.

So, 5 Brits in R1, Zero in R2. Not a good week for the home supporters.

Stan's loss wasn't really a surprise.

Milos' loss was unexpected but Kokki (if healthy) is one of the most promising youngsters.

But Andy's loss? To Jordan Thomson? And John Lloyd can say as much as he likes what an amazing performance it was from Jordan but it really wasn't.

Yes I  agree I am a big Andy fan but he was awful and looked totally out of it mentally. Thompson just  needed to keep the ball in play one of the worst performances I  have seen from Andy  no fight either

No spark or energy from Andy, sadly.

Taking the clay court season off didn't do Federer much good in Germany last week.

Not great, especially with an original draw that had an all British tie

A totally bizarre day. Top three seeds out, only one slightly justified ie Stan. Ah well, that's tennis. I just hope that they will all do good prep away from the match court and do well at Wimby. In the meantime, I'm excited by Thanasi and Denis. I don't know much about the guy who knocked Andy out. I hope they show some of Andy's post match interview.

Absolutely shocking - watched the whole match - never seen Andy play that bad before - just not at the races - hopefully the rest will do him some good smile
