Any idea whose winning! i.e. the prize for the most conservative punter.

Top of the leaderboard is Madadman 3 points clear of Miriambee then with 6 contesting 3rd to 8th place separated by just 2 points

I nearly decided that perhaps we should wait abit longer to publish the first update, and if you look at the bottom of the list you will see why cry

Thank you for running this competition, I have been excluded despite posting in time, any idea why you have left the ugly fat boy on one side of the cyberplayground while you all go off and play your very clever virtual tennis manager.

I completly understand that the powers that be would have been very nervous at such an inspired prediction and purely be suppressing the competition, often on this board I feel I am ploughing a lone furrow for good v evil despite my disappointment ;by all means continue swinging your head rackets in meldonium denial, I will continue to fight the good fight.

oh yes 'something is rotten in the state of Denmark'.

And no! Please do not give me that Russian hackers clap trap!

I'm just off the bottom in the men's list, but I think - points wise - I'm still closer to the leader than I am in the ladies where I am in the top six!

Thanks Sim looking forward to joining you at the bottom of the list! Looking pretty lonely down there.

Oakland, consider yourself "done in" (note to self, don't try and post on a tablet over breakfast).

You are safely mid table.

I was looking at the race positions, the race ultimately being the rankings 2 weeks before our predictions rankings are finalised.

Next Monday the race positions will be :

1. Andy
2. Dan
3. Aljaz
4. Kyle
5. Jay
6. Brydan
7. Cam
8. Ed
9. Liam
10. Marcus

11. Neil
12. Lloyd
13. Jonny
14. Luke

Clearly quite a lot could / probably will change with the clay and grass seasons eg. Kyle vs Dan on clay. Jay got a bit of a flier at the end of last year, but the vast majority of these late year points will count for the predictions, and his form has continued this year. Cam may play more as in time hopefully will James Ward ( though he would start off from 0 ). Marcus holds a top 10 position even in race points from limited appearances, clearly not including last year's Wimbledon. Hopefully his appearances will become less limited.

Am I correct in thinking that Wardy (J) will come back under a PR?

I would think so, but I assume for the predictions it will be his actual ranking on the ATP list rather than any PR that will count ?

In the women we have Sam Murray back playing with a PR 259 lasting untiI I don't know when. Would put the cat among the pigeons a bit ( though I am not sure anyone went for her ) if she held that and counted it for the predictions. Again, I assume her actual WTA list ranking will count for our predictions.
