Neil was doing very well until *4-5 40-0 in the 2nd before the match went away very quickly, hope he didn't have any injury issues.

Rob was looking very good as well, overall though a slightly more encouraging start to this weeks futures than last week.

I think Neil's match going away from him quickly might be mostly to do with young Halys. I get the impresion that he's a bit streaky and very good when he's 'on'.

Anyway, hopefully that rather than anything particularly negative from Neil's side.

That's cheered me up !!! After disappointment for Neil, and Rob, and ( to a lesser extent i.e. it wasn't as close as the others) JWH, Luke comes through and wins the third

(NB good call, paulisi - could you call him to win the next one please?)

To be fair it was quite an educated guess. Bambo was playing quite well last week, but couldn't push home his advantage and Peliwo's results this season have been mixed.

Bambo should come through the next round against the young German. The draw has opened up nicely for him and a potential QF against Tom or the second seed(who Neil thrashed)

Marcus is going well against last week's finalist - a set and a break up.

JWH was the other that I expected to win and his result was a little disappointing.

Scott turned around his match completely against Andy B and came back to win 6-2 in the 3rd.

Josh M has also completed a comfortable 4&3 win over Marshall.

Marcus Walters into a 3rd set with Dave Rice

I can see three GB semi finalists this week - Marcus Willis, Dan Cox and either Tom F or Bambo

Dave R comes back in the 3rd to defeat Marcus Walters.

Dave Porter lost 6-1 in the 3rd against Bossel. Decent effort though.

I was at Shrewsbury today. I will try and say a bit more later on but for now I will just settle for saying that Marcus Walters is certainly one to watch.

Very convincing win for Willis against an opponent who cruised to the final last week
