Qualifying draw is relatively empty

Main draw acceptance for Cox, Willis, Milton, Rice, Gabb, Ward-Hibbert, Farquharson, Bambridge, Pauffley

Evo is down, but there is no way he will have been given a wildcard unless he has got in late

Wildcards -possibly Salisbury, O'Mara, Bettles, Clayton

'got in late', do you mean a night out?

Have you sounded the grenade whistle recently?

Well that article wasn't very informative. If he dug a bit deeper, he could have found out the reason for non-attendance at the British tour. If you asked round at Nottingham, you will have found out he's hasn't been training there that often.

He was one place away from getting in directly this week, if there was a late drop out, he may have made main draw.

This is a new saying for me. Care to elaborate?

Really close for Josh Paris who was within a couple of points of the match in the second set but ended up losing 3-6 7-5 6-4

Well done to Luke Oakley who came through, and David Porter.

The doubles draw is also out.

Andy Bettles, Joe Salisbury,Scott Clayton and Jonny O'Mara look like they have the wildcards as they are playing doubles.

Nice to see Sean Thornley and Darren Walsh playing this week.

Qualifying finished ages ago yet the main draw still isn't available.

They're scratching their heads about who's showing up

The draw is out finally.

Several nice foreigner v foreigner pair-ups. That'll get rid of a couple.

As predicted, Marcus Walters did get a wildcard, and draws David Rice, which - sadly - is not a bad draw really.

Jonny O'Mara's got a good draw. Neil P gets Halys. Marcus gets the Croat Pecotic who made the final last week.

Apparently they did the draw in a local art museum and did some talk beforehand... Hence why it's only just come out.

That is a pretty decent draw for the Brits. Marcus and Neil P have awkward matches, but the higher ranked British players have good draws. Fancy Bambo to create an upset.

There's no doubt that since we upgraded these tournaments from 10k to 15k the standard of foreign oppo has improved.

I hope you're right about Bambo, love it if he could make semis/finals at one of these tournaments, got the ability that's for sure.

I just don't know what to make of Luke. Whenever I watch him play he seems to have so many good attributes but he rarely gets the results that he looks like he is capable of.
