Dan lost the 1st set 6-4 but has fought back to win the 2nd 6-3. Into a decider.

Final: Quentin Halys (FRA) WR 467 beat (3) Dan Cox WR 262 6-4 3-6 6-3

It could all have been so different if Pauffers back hadn't given out in the first round.

But fair do's to the Frenchman. He has come through some tough matches. Infact you could say that where Halys is concerned, comet the hour, comet the man.

I'll sign off now and hide for a bit.

What a see-saw final that was! Semi's of the doubles, final of the singles, still a good week for Dan.

I've just been saying the same thing to Neil. If Neil had beaten him, could have been a very good week for him. Resting his back up now over his birthday weekend.

Just as well. Dreadful (ie extremely good) pun.

Agreed, but in the next breath I would say he has had a good week overall, just a shame he couldn't cap it off wink

 Hi Bob,

sorry - didn't know you could get private messages. Only just found them when you said! Thanks for the advice, may look at giving that a try if we have no luck
