Swan 6-4 6-3 Kingsley

SF vs Dalma Galfi, who has been one of the strongest juniors in the world over recent months.

Katie regularly serving at around 170km/h, and up to 175km/h!

Katie won 6-4 6-3 smile

Hungarian 5th seed and Eddie Herr winner awaits in the semis, who also won a pair of 10Ks back to back in November. Looks like it might be tough, as GS semis should be, but knows

Delighted for Katie.

Galfi will be tough, but you expect nothing less in a GS semi final

Absolutely delighted for Katy, a heavy serve backed up with athleticism and such progress in a junior slam when not yet 16 is all really exciting for her.

If Laura gets fit and Heather keeps developing as she is, Katie should have space to develop and only really come into it because of her performances as opposed to everyone else's expectations.

Let's hope she pushes on to a level where at 18 College tennis would be a real step back for her (in the nicest possible way) or she has the pick of the absolutely best programmes.

Keep it up and god luck in the semis a great chance and nothing to loose

I think the points so far this week should put Katie inside the top 20

I think living in the US away from all the potential hoopla, won't do her any harm afterall. Very pleasing progress.
