Of course, if Heather is seeded for the French Open it helps her chances of earning good points there and then also being possibly seeded for Wimbledon.
Judged on her results last year, and my general impressions of her strengths and weaknesses, I think that Heather may eventually turn out to be a clay-court specialist. So I think that seeding for RG is as important as seeding for Wimbledon.
With Veronelli in her corner, I had hoped she might show some interest in the South American clay circuit.
The Prague Open that she won last year on clay had a very strong field.
Let Laura wannabe Virginia; Heather imho wants to be ther next Sue Barker.
Good points, wimdledont, be great in itself for Heather to be seeded for RG, quite apart from it probably being a necessary step if she is then to be seeded for Wimbledon. She could do well at RG.
I assume that you are talking about Wade and Barker as tennis players rather than their media abilities :)
A seeding at RG would really be great progression. I'll wait to see how Heather performs in Hobart but I really feel some promise for Heather and her season.
Yes Naomi, that's more like it !
Not sure about Rybarikova's current form, but she's hot and cold. Lepchenko is lurking next round, and of course she's been on fire this week, but might be jaded, let's hope so.
Good win.
Who knows where Sloane's head is at - she warmed up by having knives thrown at her, really! Wonder what Saviano made of that from his new charge!
Hev's record over Sloane is impressive.
