There is a big risk with Bedene as he has allegedly applied for a GB passport, but may not be allowed to play for GB under the new rules in Davis Cup. Will he still play under the GB banner?
Alternatively, bribe Steven to put him / not put him on the top 25 table :)
LOL he goes on the GB top 25 table once the ATP and ITF list him as GBR (maybe only one of them if it becomes clear that the other will change him to GBR within a week or two) or we get absolutely clear confirmation that he has applied and is expected to succeed.
I know I added JoKo to the women's table more than a year before her final switch came through but I with switches and possible switches seemingly becoming more common, I don'f think I would add a player whose switch was surrounded by that much uncertainty again, even if all was well than ended well with Jo
For this competition, I'd suggest excluding Aljaz since he wasn't classed as British at the start of 2015 but with all the entries in, I guess it might be quite difficult to do that now unless everyone who picked him picked an alternate/more than 10 players in total.

I think for practical purposes, given we are where we are, Bedene has to be accepted ( although individual entrants still have the rest of the day to adjust any players ).
Bedene's basic circumstances would have been known to most, particularly those who went for him, so if they take such a punt fair dos just as with injured players. An interesting subplot ...
Seriously re the top 25 table, that ATP / ITF guideline that Steven refers to is fine and to me Bedene should count come season end if he is on the top 25 for more than indicative purposes ( i.e. Steven may still end up putting him on early in a similar way to JoKo if it looks very likely he will become a Brit, but he should count when there is no proviso re him being classsified as a Brit, the Davis Cup position not being particularly relevant ).
I think picking Bedene is just part of the normal punt. As you say, Indy, it's like any other punt. i.e. we can't have "I'll pick Lisa W assuming she's recovered but give an alternate for if not" or "I'll put Oli GOlding in my top 10 but give an alternate in case he doesn't make a comeback".
I'm quite happy having picked Bedene - if he's playing for GB (according to ATP/ITF) at the end of the year, then kudos and points for those who picked him. If he doesn't change, then that's a zero, just like the zeroes we got for Laura this year.

BeefyDeedz you have put Dan Cox down twice! Do you want to change one of those to someone else - Dan Evans?

Oops, sorry about that. From my notes I think that was supposed to be Marcus in the place of the second Dan Cox. Have no idea how it happened!
I have put all the predictions into a spreadsheet and it is published here: http://www.britishtennis.net/predictions/2015%20Male%20Ranking%20predictions.htm.

Ratty's 100% score is down to his ploy of assuming no change. Those towards the bottom of the table have gone for greater change.
Hi Sim - love your charts - I'm figuring you're a bit of an Excel boffin ?? :)
I think you might have misaligned my JWH points though - think they've gone to Farris.
Now, I love Farris too - any non-conventional player gets my vote! - but I have to give my points to Josh, as a diehard 'now I'm a believer' (breaks out into embarrassing singing).
Coup Droit and BeefyDeedz I have updated your entries.
I am not sure about an excel boffin - I am sure there is a neater way of doing it, but it seems to work and I now have a template which I should save some time. Will publish the womens table tomorrow or Tuesday evening.
