Andy Murray: 5
James Ward: 75
Kyle Edmund: 110
Liam Broady: 154
Brydan Klein: 201
Dan Cox: 232
Alex Ward: 249
Dan Cox: 274
Ed Corrie: 304
Dan Smethurst: 330
For the men, i'm also going to be fairly optimistic.
Andy Murray 4 James Ward 85 Kyle Edmund 115 Liam Broady 130 Brydan Klien 170 Alex Ward 195 Dan Evans 205 Dan Smethurst 225 Ed Corrie 255 Dan Cox 295
Again all 10 in the top 300, c'monnn :)
Love your spirit, Tommymac !
As you say, better to fail in glorious hope and optimism than succeed in gloom and negativity
Firstly, I think Bob is going to hit the jackpot this year. 20 in the top 500 will be: Murray, Ward x 2, Dan x 3, Bedene, Brydan, L.B. x 2, JWH and Josh M, Ed, Dave R, Marcus, Kyle, Gabb, Farris and Joe, Tom (and maybe Neil and Cameron).
As for the top 10, I'm taking a punt that Bedene will switch (Davis Cup be hanged) and that Dan Evans will see that he ain't earning any money any other way and he's too good a tennis player not to play.
As I went for JWH as a joker last year, I can't drop him this year, obviously, just now he's actually won something, so I'm a believer and staying that way.
Apologies to Marcus (who was in my top 10 last year and I sincerely hope/believe will do well) but I've got to mix it up a bit. Same for Dave R.
Also, Dan S - he was my only 'money' pick last year so ever grateful to the man but he's going to have serious problems in the first half of the year, to defend his points, and he seems to play on confidence so I'm not too sure.
Alex Ward was a serious contender/concern because he's got the level, no doubt, but two (TWO) identical stress fractures in the same bone, in the space of 6 months - it's not great . . .And lots of people have gone for him (sensibly so) so makes sense - strategically - to go the other way.
Agree that it's way too early for an Oli comeback, otherwise I might have been tempted . . . Ed and Dan C are grafters, I like that. I've also put Liam way up - mainly as an apology for getting him completely wrong last year - sorry Liam.
Don't know about Farris' schedule (will he do the next semester back at school?) so reckon he'll be top 400 no problem but couldn't go for more. Joe is obviously under-ranked (anyone who's only played 6 months has to be, by definition) but couldn't find a space for him. Don't know about Tom.
So, net net, I'm going for:
Andy 12
James 84
Bedene 90
Dan Evans 150
Liam 155
Kyle 160
Brydan 190
Ed Corrie 240
Dan Cox 260
JWH 290
Yep, Tommy, I'm with you - all ten in the top 300 !
Andy Murray 4
James Ward 79
Kyle Edmund 91
Aljaz Bedene 97
Liam Broady 110
Alex Ward 173
Ed Corrie 210
Dan Cox 235
Brydan Klein 259
Josh Milton 285
Notable absentee - Dan Evans. I just fear that this time next year, Dan won't be playing tennis at all. Nothing would please me more than to be proved completely wrong on that one.
Notable absentee (2) Dan S. I am not convinced Dan is completely over his injury and I think that will affect his ranking. If he stays fit all year, he could make me look very foolish.
Andy Murray 8
James Ward 90
Liam Broady 125
Kyle Edmund 130
Brydan Klein 195
Dan Evans 200
Edward Corrie 215
Dan Smethurst 235
Dan Cox 300
Josh Milton 305
Andy Murray: 4
James Ward: 97
Kyle Edmund: 170
Liam Broady: 185
Dan Evans: 210
Ed Corrie: 215
Dan Cox: 245
Brydan Klein: 250
Dan Smethurst: 256
Alex Ward: 270
Note -
Would hope for Willis and Gosea to be pushing top 300 provided they play a full schedule
Hope I'm not too late to log in. I got locked out of posting and it took 6 hrs to get a password reset.

Seeing as the season really kicks off tomorrow for Brits in official tournaments, and as I haven't started putting the entries into a spreadsheet yet I will accept any late entries upto the end of today.
It may be obvious but your players have to be British (and I'll follow Steven's top 25 Brits table for "proof"). I'll include Bedene's score in the running totals but any player who is not defined as British at end of season will get 0 points.
