I agree with Madeline. Right now I'm off to bed, not sure how quickly I'll be able to sleep though, am on a pretty high high, just like everyone else I guess!

what an amazing feat by murray, two, effectively, top 10 players on consecutive days! easily got to be one of the best british result in years!! i think i should try and relax now - its not right for a 17 year old to be nearly having a heart attack!! P.S. thanks to everyoe posters scores  and info on how they played etc..

Welcome gizmobaby

True the French is on clay but Andy says it's his fav surface.

Am just over the moon here, I wonder who Andy's girlfriend is, looks like a top model.

Definately, this is up with the Rusedski Masters Series win in Paris. When did a Brit last beat top 5 players in a row. Amazing stuff

Andy celebrates by kissing the mystery girl 3, maybe 4 times. Someone has thrown a union jack at him which he seems happy to wave arround.

Her name is Kim, she has light brown hair in an alice band and this is the first time she has been to watch him play. Andy says that might have made him more relaxed on court. He would like her to come to more tournaments and who can argue.

Sadly Mark Petchy isn't there, Goodall remarks that he usually usually shares a room with Petchy so maybe this week has been extra fun. Petchy does have a young family and it is good to se that Andy is mature enough to play his best tennis without him courtside.

In the interview Andy also said that he thought the Soderling match was where he started to play well and this has been the best week of his life.

The prize money for the winner is $52,000

He's got it all

He'll have a brill chance at memphis this week as long as he's not worn out by this weekend.

I can imagine a long night of celebration in San Jose for the Murray camp, Will Andy do a Safin and drink San Jose dry ?

What a big breakthrough, they say the 1st title is often the most difficult and for it to come so quickly is just awesome.

This time last year, Andy has lost in rd3 of qualifying for a futures event in Portugal. What an amazing 12 months - from being written off by many as the next British hope to contender for top ATP titles and beating Hewitt and Roddick
