Andy plays Pablo Cuevas this morning, when the Nadal match is over. Andy leads the H2H 1-0 but their meeting was back in 2007. Cuevas is mainly a clay-courter, but he has won 2 APT titles and 2 Challenger titles this year, all on the dirt, and another Challenger title at the back end of last year. Andy ought to win this one - but these days I feel I still need to cross my fingers firmly!
I missed most of the match, and I was intending to watch it this afternoon, but couldn't resist checking on the score as soon as I got home. From the bit I saw it looked to be an entertaining, if one-sided match.
When the camera showed Andy's box she wasn't there. I think I read somewhere that she would be back with him in Europe, which I assume means she won't be in Shanghai either. Maybe had prior commitments.
Always seems like Cilic gives Andy cold sweats. Who knows how this one will go! But a solid win today for Andy, the type you'd expect from a top player, which is a good sign.

This week seems to have gone mostly as scheduled for the seeds with 7/8 making the QFs. Hopefully Andy can upset that and beat a higher seed in the morning.
